The whole thing in six short sections and a glossary.
Cheque runs on top of Pons V2 on Robinhood Chain. Anyone can launch a coin for any X handle. The person who launches gets the coin. The handle gets a chequebook, and every trade of that coin writes them a cheque.
The handle's owner does not need to be here for the cheques to pile up. They cash them later by signing in with X and showing the handle is theirs.
Every trade pays a 2.2% fee. 1% is the cheque, written to the handle's chequebook. 0.2% goes to Cheque. 1% is the base fee of Pons, the launchpad underneath.
The split is fixed at launch and written into the coin. Nobody can change it later, including us.
New coins trade on a bonding curve. When the curve completes, liquidity moves to Uniswap and the coin graduates. Cheques keep being written after graduation.
A cheque is written the moment a trade settles. It is uncashed while it sits on the curve, and cleared once it is swept into the chequebook on-chain. Sweeps happen automatically; there is nothing to do.
Sign in with X on your chequebook page or at /cash. Cheque checks the handle and releases the cleared balance to the wallet you connect. One press, one transaction.
